Ogunquit, Maine June 3rd - June 5th, 2005

Cape Neddick Lobstah Pound.
Fairchild Reunion June 2005 brought the sunniest weekend that us New Englanders had seen for a long winter. The Twin Towers had lots of good points - like a huge wonderful porch with rockers to make it easy to talk away the hours. And as usual, we had lots of stuff to talk about and catch up on - sharing the heartaches and joys of the recent months. Looking back ... we sure did have lots of hard times to share, didn't we? I loved every minute of it. The kitchen was a tad small, there was no dishwasher, the bedrooms were very lovely, had wonderful views ... I liked the porch off of my bedroom ... and everyone had to trapse through my bedroom to get to the bathroom or go downstairs! (Nevertheless, I slept great!)
The Friday food fest was exquisite ... Kathy brought chocolate-dipped potato chips - made it easier for some to eat chocolate/chips at the same time. Salads, baked vegies, salmon, etc.... yummmm!
Nancy's Amazing Race video was primetime entertainment - blink twice and you missed it. We still managed to talk and talk and talk until we just about fell asleep in mid-sentence.
Nancy was here - but spoiled the picture that included her!

Something looks fishy with this porch adornment.
This is why I didn't use the dinner pic of all of us - the middle someone.

And sooo, it was very easy to find the Twin Towers again, since I had just been here January (or was it February?). Just go to the end of Long Beach!

Merl said more than once: "I really LIKE my first reunion experience!"

Les chaufeured us - Thanks, Les!

Marginal Way, Perkins Cove: Some guy with a camera wanted to take a picture of us!

The weekend dissolved - before we knew it, it was time to say goodbye.
